Israeli soldiers abducted, Friday, two Palestinians and injured several others, including one who was shot with a live round, in Bethlehem and Hebron, in the occupied West Bank.
In the southern part of the West Bank, media sources in Hebron said the soldiers abducted two young men, Yousef al-Azza and Abdullah Abu Aidha, in the Tal Romeida neighborhood in the center of the city.
The soldiers also detained several Palestinians for a few hours during a provocative procession by illegal Israeli colonizers in the area.
The Palestinians, largely from the families of Abu Haikal, Ghanem, and Abu Aisha, were not allowed to reach their homes in the neighborhood until the colonizers concluded their procession.
In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank, the soldiers shot a young man with live fire in the leg during protests at the eastern entrance of ‘Aida refugee camp, north of the city.
The Palestinian suffered a moderate injury and was moved to Beit Jala governmental hospital. Several Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
In related news, the army detained two Palestinians after the soldiers stopped and searched their car near the junction of Shilo illegal Israeli colony south of Nablus, in the northern part of the West Bank.
The soldiers also caused many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation at the main entrance of Beita town, south of Nablus.
