On Thursday, the Israeli army continued bombing various areas of the devastated Gaza Strip, killing more than 41 Palestinians and wounding dozens, including children and women.
In Jabalia, in northern Gaza, at least 13 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured when the army fired missiles at two homes in the Az-Zarqa area of the town.
Medical sources reported that rescue teams recovered the corpses of 13 Palestinians and evacuated many wounded, including children. They added that the search beneath the rubble was still ongoing.
Additionally, the army invaded the yard of Al-Awda Hospital in Tal Az-Za’tar, Jabalia, firing live rounds and burning tents sheltering displaced families. The army also launched a missile at a home in the same area.
The Al-Awda Health and Community Association stated that medical teams at Al-Awda Hospital, located in Tel Al-Zaatar, are desperately trying to extinguish fires in hospital facilities after the Israeli attack.
The association noted that hospital teams are working to control fires in storage units and warehouses, preventing them from spreading to other areas and endangering the lives of patients and medical personnel.

However, the flames continue to spread throughout the hospital, and staff are struggling to contain them due to a lack of essential resources. Meanwhile, Israeli tanks have once again surrounded the hospital.
The association confirmed that it is reaching out to various international and humanitarian organizations, including the World Health Organization, the healthcare sector, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Humanitarian Fund for the Occupied Palestinian Territories, and the Palestinian Network of NGOs.
It urged international pressure on Israeli forces to allow hospital teams to continue fire suppression efforts without risking their lives and to permit emergency response teams to access the hospital safely to contain the flames.
