Earlier Tuesday morning, Israeli soldiers invaded Anata town, northeast of occupied East Jerusalem in the West Bank, and demolished several walls on privately-owned lands.

Taha Refa’ey, the Mayor of Anata, said the soldiers demolished a large wall consisting of large rocks in the Najma area of Anata town.

He added that the wall, on privately owned Palestinian land, is near the main Anata-Za’im road leading to several Palestinian communities southeast of Jerusalem.

The soldiers also demolished retaining walls on Palestinian farmlands owned by four residents.
