Thursday evening: Israeli army troops arrest two residents from the West Bank city of Hebron.
Noaman Al Najjar, a sergeant in the Palestinian police force in the city, and Atallah Qa’aqour were arrested after soldiers stopped them at the Tarqumya military checkpoint at the city entrance, eyewitnesses reported.
The army gave neither a reason for the arrest or the location to which they were taken.
