On Friday, Israeli soldiers injured several Palestinians in the Bab az-Zawiya area, in the center of Hebron city, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded Bab az-Zawiya, attacked several Palestinians, and tried to force stores shut, leading to protests.
They added that the soldiers fired gas bombs and concussion grenades, causing dozens of Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
Earlier Friday, the soldiers installed roadblocks around Hebron and nearby towns, stopped and searched dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
