On Saturday, Israeli soldiers injured many Palestinians and abducted two former political prisoners near Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said several army jeeps invaded Qabatia town, south of Jenin, leading to protests before the soldiers fired rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
The sources added that several Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation and received the needed treatment.
The soldiers also ambushed two political prisoners in the Mothallath ash-Shuhada village south of Jenin and abducted them.
The Palestinians have been identified as Hamza Suleiman Abu Ar-Rob and Mohammad Samir Abu Zeina.
