On Sunday evening, Israeli soldiers injured several Palestinians after the army invaded Husan village, west of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.
Mohammad Sabateen, the head of Husan Village Council, said many Palestinians protested the invasion and hurled stones at the soldiers near the western entrance of the village, not far from the illegal Bitar Illit colony, built on stolen Palestinian lands.
He added that the soldiers fired several live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades, causing many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The soldiers also closed the Iron Gate at the town’s western entrance and prevented the Palestinians from crossing.
