On Friday evening, Israeli soldiers injured a teen and caused many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation during the funeral of a slain child in Azzoun town, east of Qalqilia, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the hundreds of Palestinians marched in the funeral procession of Mohammad Nidal Salim, 15, who was killed after a soldier shot him with live rounds in the back, on Thursday evening.
They added that the soldiers shot a teenage boy, 17, with a live round in the knees before Palestinian medics rushed him to a hospital in Qalqilia.
The medics also treated dozens of Palestinians who suffered the severe effects of tear gas inhalation, cuts, and bruises.
