On Wednesday morning, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the death of a Palestinian man who was seriously injured when the Israeli army bombed Gaza.
The Ministry identified the Palestinian man as Hashel Mubarak Salman Mubarak, 58, from the Shati’ refugee camp northwest of Gaza City.
It said the man was seriously injured when the Israeli army fired missiles that struck buildings in the refugee camp and succumbed to his wounds later.
Israeli missiles and shells also injured five Palestinians in their homes east of Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
Hashem’s death came a few hours after a ceasefire agreement was reached under Egyptian mediation.
