A group of Israeli border police officers attacked Ata Abu Farah, 42, and injured him, while he was on his way to work in Israel on Wednesday.
Abu Farah, who lives in Surif near the West Bank city of Hebron, sustained bruises and cuts all over his body, and was moved to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Army officers claimed that Farah had no work permit in Israel.
