Israeli forces injured, on Friday evening, four Palestinian young men, one of whom suffered a serious gunshot wound, in the Al-Aroub refugee camp, north of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, local sources reported.
Palestinians gathered in the camp to show their support for Gaza and to condemn the Israeli aggression on the tiny coastal enclave.
Soldiers opened fire with live rounds at demonstrators in addition to heavily firing tear gas at demonstrators and near Palestinian homes, according to local activist Samih al-Titi.
He added that soldiers four young men were shot with live ammunition, one of whom was shot in the abdomen, causing serious injury, and another who sustained a moderate injury after being shot in the waist.
Among the injured were two who sustained minor shrapnel wounds in the back, while dozens suffered the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
In Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, the soldiers caused many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation during protests that took place after the army invaded the Beit Za’ta area in the eastern part of the town.
