A Palestinian man was abducted, on Thursday, after an Israeli guard was lightly injured in an alleged car-ramming incident, at the Qalandia military roadblock, north of occupied Jerusalem.

The identity and condition of the suspect were not known at the time of writing this report, as the incident is currently being investigated.
The Times of Israel reported that the suspect was a 38-year-old Palestinian man from the town of Kafr ‘Aqab, who was reportedly suicidal at the time of the incident.
It added that the man arrived at the military roadblock after he had sustained a self-inflicted wound from a box-cutter.
The man stopped at the roadblock, and when a guard approached the vehicle, the man accelerated suddenly, striking the security guard.
