On Monday morning, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers demolished an agricultural room in the Ein Al-Baida area, east of Yatta town, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
Local sources said the colonizers came from the illegal Karmiel colony, built on stolen Palestinian lands.
They added that the colonizers invaded a Palestinian land and demolished an agricultural room owned by a local farmer, Ghassan Thaher Da’ajna.
Furthermore, Israeli soldiers invaded Susiya and Moneizel villages near Yatta town and the as-Samu’ town, south of Hebron, and installed roadblocks before stopping and searching many Palestinian cars.
Israel’s colonies in the occupied Palestinian territories, including in and around the occupied capital, Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions.
UN Security Council and UN General Assembly resolutions have condemned Israeli policies in all its forms, in the occupied Palestinian territories, whether it be the seizure of Palestinian land for various military purposes, the construction of illegal Israeli colonies, or the creation of bypass roads.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states that the occupying power [Israel] is forbidden from transferring any part of its civilian population onto the land on which it occupies [Palestine].
On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted six Palestinians from their homes in Ramallah and Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s central and northern parts.
In addition, the soldiers abducted three Palestinians from Jenin in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.
