On Friday, Israeli soldiers attacked the procession of a slain young man in Huwwara town, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, and injured many, including three with live fire.

The Palestinians were marching and holding the funeral ceremony and procession of Labib Mohammad Dmeidi, 19, who was shot dead by an illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizer in the town on Thursday night.

The army fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at the Palestinians.

The soldiers also attacked many Palestinian journalists and fired gas bombs and concussion grenades at them.

Medical sources said the soldiers shot three Palestinians with live fire in their lower extremities, 25 with rubber-coated steel bullets, including two who were shot in their heads, and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

The soldiers took the key to one Palestinian ambulance and detained the medics in it to prevent them from providing treatment to wounded residents.

In addition, the soldiers detained at least twelve Palestinians for several hours before releasing them; three of them were identified as Zeid Odah, Mo’men Odah and Mamoun Nael Odah.

On Thursday evening, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man in Huwwara; according to Quds News Network, the Palestinian has been identified as Jamal Mahmoud Majdoub, who recently came back to the West Bank with his brothers, and the two have been living with their grandmother in Far’un town, south of Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank

The army alleged the Palestinian had earlier fired several live rounds at an Israeli car in the town, shattering the back window, and added that a pregnant woman, accompanied by a child in the backseat, was driving the vehicle and managed to drive away unharmed and headed to a military roadblock.

Earlier Thursday, Israeli soldiers killed Abdul-Rahman Fares Muhammad Atta, 23, and Hotheifa Adnan Muhammad Fares, 27, in Shoufa village, southeast of Tulkarem in the northwestern occupied West Bank.
