Far-right Member of Knesset Tzvika Foghel of the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) Party accompanied the colonizers in the invasion and installed a tent in the center of the town.

Dozens of colonizers set up tables and chairs in the center of the town before many started attacking the Palestinian homes and shops.
