An Egyptian police source reported on Saturday that for Egyptian were
arrested after they attempted to cross into the Gaza Strip through a
tunnel under the Gaza-Egypt borders.
The officer, identified as Mohammad Bader, said that the four were transferred to the Suez Canal Egyptian city for military prosecution, Israeli online daily Haaretz reported.
Meanwhile, the Associated Press said that no drugs or weapons were found in possession of the four, and that it is still unclear why they were attempting to cross into Gaza.
In a separate incident in the Gaza Strip, an Israeli military source reported that a roadside bomb detonated near a military vehicle causing damage to the vehicle, no injuries were reported.
