The Israeli soldiers stationed at the military checkpoint of Gilo or known as checkpoint 300, which separates the West Bank cities of Bethlehem and Hebron from Jerusalem, have attacked Palestinian worshippers coming from those cities to Jerusalem.
Soldiers attacked the people with batons and tear gas while on their way to the Friday prayers in Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
Medical sources reported several cases of gas inhalation injuries. Depending on their mood, soldiers only allowed residents aged older than 45 yeas old to pass the checkpoins, residents reported.
