On Tuesday, Israeli missiles and shells killed dozens of Palestinians and injured hundreds as Israel’s onslaught on the coastal region continued since October 7. The ongoing Israeli onslaught on Gaza has led to the killing of more than 11320, including 4650 children and 3145 women.
Many Palestinians were killed and injured in an Israeli bombing of a school where dozens of families sheltered in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City.
A woman was killed, and many Palestinians were injured, some seriously, in the Israeli bombing of a home for the Shaath family in the Al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Younis, in the Gaza Strip’s southern part.
In Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza, twenty-five Palestinians, including at least three children, were killed, and more than seventy were injured after the army bombed a home for the Al-Jaro family; among the injured are many women and at least three children.
Israeli missiles have killed at least 25 Palestinians and injured more than seventy in several parts of Deir Al-Balah; many children and women are among the casualties.
The Health Ministry said 40 patients, including three children, died at the Shifa Medical Center in Gaza due to the lack of medical supplies resulting from the siege on the medical facility and the constant Israeli bombing of the coastal enclave.
In Jabalia, in northern Gaza, Israeli missiles and shells killed 31 Palestinians and injured dozens, mainly women and children, after targeting a residential area near Jabalia Services Club.
Six Palestinians were also killed, and many were wounded when the army fired a missile at a home near the Al-Fakhoura School, in the Jabalia refugee camp, where many families sheltered.
Also, Palestinian Civil Defense teams located the corpses of two Palestinians and evacuated many wounded after the army bombed a home in the Nusseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
At least two Palestinians were killed, and many were injured in an earlier bombing of another home in Nusseirat.
The Health Ministry in Gaza said 40 Palestinians have died at the Shifa Medical Center due to the lack of medical supplies and the constant Israeli siege and bombing and added that dozens of bodies need to be buried, but the army is targeting Palestinians in the hospital’s yards.
Meanwhile, Human Rights Watch called for an investigation into Israel’s attacks on hospitals in Gaza.
Sources at the Shifa Hospital said after at least three babies died, the 36 premature babies remain at risk of dying due to the lack of oxygen and medical supplies, adding that the staff is only able to provide basic services.
The Palestinians had to bury the corpses of 179 slain Palestinians in the hospital’s courtyard, while seven babies and 29 patients in Intensive Care have died since the fuel for the hospital’s fuel generators ran out last Saturday.
The head of Rantisi Hospital appealed for the dispatching of an International Committee to observe the dire conditions in Gaza hospitals.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said Israel bombed the Al-Quds Hospital and added that the facility suffers a serious shortage of medical supplies, is unable to reach wounded and slain Palestinians, and can barely provide basic treatment for its patients.
It also said that the wounded of many injured Palestinians are severely infected due to the lack of medical supplies.
On Tuesday evening, the Palestinian Health Ministry said the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli missiles and shells since October 7 in the ongoing Israeli offensive in Gaza is now more than 11320, including 4650 children and 3145 women.
Among the dead are at least 578 seniors and 198 medical workers, including doctors, nurses, and medics, in addition to 22 Civil Defense workers and fifty-one journalists.
There are at least 3600 missing Palestinians, including 1755 children, who remain buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings, while the constant Israeli bombing, the lack of fuel and equipment, and the massive destruction in Gaza are making rescue efforts extremely difficult, and even impossible in areas that are subject to intensive Israeli bombing.
