Armed Israeli colonizers shot, on Sunday, two Palestinian children in the village of Deir Qiddis, northwest of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.

On Sunday evening, a group of illegal Israeli colonizers invaded the village of Deir Qiddis, northwest of Ramallah and opened live fire towards Palestinian citizens.

Media sources said that the paramilitary settlers shot two Palestinian children, ages 12 and 14, with live ammunition, one in the foot and the other in the thigh.

Both of the wounded children were transported to hospital for medical treatment.

In related news, another group of illegal Israeli colonists, on Sunday morning, destroyed a drinking water network that supplies three Palestinian communities in Masafer Yatta, south of of the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

Protest at al-Aqsa (archive image)Meanwhile, dozens of Israeli colonists under the full protection of occupation police invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, carrying out provocative tours of the compound and performing Talmudic rituals.

According to the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, the Israeli occupation continued with daily violations against the Al-Aqsa Mosque in November.

In a press statement, the Ministry said the illegal settlers storm the Al-Aqsa Mosque 5 days a week, except Fridays and Saturdays, recording 22 incursions in the month of November.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Committee, in November 2023, illegal Israeli colonists carried out 220 attacks against Palestinian citizens and their property in the occupied West Bank.

These include;

  • 62 attacks in Nablus, 60 in Hebron, 25 in Bethlehem,
  • 179 acts of sabotage against Palestinian-owned property,
  • 4 attempts to establish new colonial outposts on Palestinian-owned lands,
  • uprooting and burning of a total of 3,232 olive trees,
  • stealing 70 Palestinian-owned livestock,
  • 9 incidents of theft of farm equipment,
  • 6 incidents of theft of olive harvest, and
  • 3 incidents of theft of mobile homes.
