Palestinian sources in the Gaza Strip reported on Saturday afternoon
that Israeli soldiers shelled several houses, east of the Jabalia
refugee camp, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. Soldiers also
fired a shell at a vehicle driving in Sha'sha'a area, east of the camp.

Eyewitnesses reported that two houses belonging to Ata Abu Jarad, and Sma'na family, were directly hit by Israeli shells, no injuries were reported.

Rescue and civil defense teams rushed to the shelled houses in an attempt to put the fires off, and to evacuate any possible injuries.

In the Jabalia refugee camp, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, soldiers fired a shell at a vehicle driving in driving in Sha'sha'a area, east of the camp.

The car was directly hit and destroyed, no injuries were reported until the time of this report.

Three Palestinians were killed by Israeli military fire in the Gaza Strip on Saturday. One of them is a fighter of the Al Quds brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, identified as Ahmad Lubbad, 22, one resident identified as Ala' Samir Al Omary, 23, died of earlier wounds, while a the body of a third resident, who remain unidentified, was found east of Gaza City.
