Israeli forces killed, on Friday, a Palestinian man in the town of Silat Al-Harithiya, northwest of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that on Friday morning, undercover Israeli agents (Musta’ribeen) infiltrated the town of Silat Al-Harithiya, northwest of Jenin, and surrounded a home.
Special forces besieged the home of Mohammad Adel Al-Shalabi in the Jaradat neighborhood.
Shortly afterwards, a large military force invaded the town and imposed a siege on the entire Jaradat neighborhood, in the center of the town.
Media sources announced the death of a former prisoner and married father of three, Mohammad Adel Al-Shalabi, 40, on Friday afternoon.
They added Israeli soldiers shot Al-Shalabi during the incursion and abducted him despite the fact that he was wounded.
According to eyewitnesses, the occupation army and their special undercover unit executed the Palestinian when he took shelter inside a closet in his house.
They added that occupation soldiers showered him with bullets and destroyed the contents of the house.
Ma’an News Agency reported that the young man was a member of the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad resistance group, and that two unidentified men who were present in the home were abducted by the army.
The occupation army continues to withhold the body of the slain man, no further details regarding the nature of his wounds.
Ma’an reported that armed resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army and utilized crude explosive devices.
Soldiers detained Qasim Mufleh Jaradat, his father, and Jamal Al-Shalabi and interrogated them before releasing them.
Israel has now killed 425 Palestinians, including 113 children and 14 who were killed by paramilitary colonizers, in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza strip, on October 7, 2023.
In the Gaza Strip, Israel killed at least 30.878 Palestinians, and injured 72.402, mainly elders, women, and children, in several parts of the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said that about %72 of the slain and injured Palestinians in the coastal enclave are women and children.
