The Palestinian News Agency WAFA reported that Israeli soldiers invaded on Friday afternoon the village of Beit Ummar, near the southern West Bank city of Hebron. The soldiers clashed with dozens of residents; several injuries were reported.The Agency stated that soldiers invaded the village following Friday prayers, and that most clashes took place near settler’s road number 60. The road is located on the eastern side of the village.
Local sources in the village reported that soldiers fired rubber-coated bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at dozens of civilians who were protesting against the Israeli excavations near the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
Medical sources in the village reported that at least two were injured by rubber-coated bullets, while the rest suffered gas inhalation.
