On Tuesday, Day 228 of the ongoing Israeli genocide of the Palestinians in the devastated, starved, and besieged Gaza Strip, the Israeli army continued the bombing and shelling of various parts of the coastal enclave, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, including children and women.
In Jabalia, in northern Gaza, the Israeli army fired a shell at the upper floor of the Al-Awda Hospital, which the army has been surrounding for the last two days.
The administration at the hospital said the army is preventing the medics and doctors from leaving to provide treatment for patients and wounded Palestinians outside the medical center, and on Sunday, it said that the army fired a shell at it.
In addition, many Palestinians were killed and injured when the army fired missiles near the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.
The army also fired many artillery shells at several areas and neighborhoods in the Jabalia refugee camp.
Also, the army fired a missile at a home for the Al-Kahlout family, and several areas in Beit Lahia.
The Israeli army renewed its invasions of bombings of Jabalia and other parts of northern Gaza nine days earlier, targeting dozens of buildings and infrastructure especially in the Jabalia refugee camp, inhabited by dozens of thousands of Palestinians.
On May 11, the army ordered the evacuation of the Palestinians from Jabalia and Jabalia refugee camp, in addition to the Salam, An-Nour, and Tal Az-Za’tar, in addition to Beit Lahia and various surrounding areas, forcing the families to flee towards areas, west of Gaza City.

In central Gaza, medical sources said dozens of Palestinians were killed and injured when the Israeli army conducted a series of airstrikes at the northern area of the Al-Boreij refugee camp.
In Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, at least one Palestinian was killed, and many were injured, when the army fired missiles at two homes for the Abu Amer and Abu Teir families, in the eastern part of the city.
Medical sources said that, besides the slain and wounded Palestinians, several residents remain under the rubble of the two bombarded homes amidst efforts to locate them.
Furthermore, Israeli navy ships fired many live rounds at Palestinians who fled their homes and tried to seek safer areas near the shore.
In Rafah, in the southmost part of the Gaza Strip, at least three Palestinians were killed, and many were injured when the army fired a missile at a home for the Abu Azzoum family in the center of the city.
Furthermore,, many Palestinians were injured when the army fired a missile at a home in the Mosbeh area, north of Rafah.
Also, Palestinian medics and Civil Defense teams evacuated many wounded Palestinians who were injured by live rounds from Israeli military Quadcopter drones, behind a society for disabled Palestinians, near the Egyptian border, south of Rafah.
It is worth mentioning that the Israeli army began the ground offensive on Rafah on May 6 despite regional and international objections and concerns, as about 1.4 Million Palestinians who fled northern and central Gaza are seeking shelter there after Israel claimed it is a “safe zone” but continued to bomb every part of the coastal enclave.
