Israeli forces abducted, on Wednesday, twelve Palestinian young men in the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron, including one who they assaulted during a funeral procession in the city.
On Wednesday morning, Israeli forces abducted eleven Palestinian citizens from various towns in the Hebron governorate, taking them to an unknown location, and summoned another for interrogation.
Media sources said that occupation soldiers abducted the young man, Hamad Yousef Hamad Samamra, after storming and searching his home in the town of Al-Dhahiriya, southwest of Hebron.
Soldiers also invaded and ransacked a cafe in the town and handed a summons to the young man, Mohsen Al-Masalma, to report for an intelligence review.
In Doura town, southwest of the city, soldiers invaded and searched the homes of Ismail Al-Awawda, Younis Mohammad Mohsen Al-Masalma, Munir Ibrahim Al-Amayra, Imad Jadallah, Youssef Nassar, Jadallah Rajoub, and Thaer Jihad Khalil Abu Sundos, before abducting them.
Sources added that the army abducted the young men, Suhaib Khaled Al-Khatib, Hussein Tabish, and Mahmoud Mohammad Abu Wardeh, after storming their homes in the Al-Fawwar camp, south of Hebron.
Meanwhile, occupation forces attacked a funeral in the “Al-Ras” neighborhood in Hebron city, opened fire at mourners, and assaulted a Palestinian young man before abducting him.
Media sources said that on Wednesday afternoon, Israeli soldiers opened fire with rubber-coated steel rounds and concussion grenades towards a funeral procession in the city; no injuries were reported.
Additionally, sources said the army brutally assaulted one of the mourners, identified as Tamer Al-Rajabi, before abducting him and taking him to an undisclosed location.
Quds News Network reported that occupation forces invaded the towns of Beit Ummar and Yatta, north and south of the city; no abductions were reported.
In related news, on Wednesday afternoon, an illegal Israeli colonizer opened fire towards Palestinian-owned homes in the Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron.
Media sources said that an illegal colonizer exited his vehicle, and fired live rounds towards citizens’ homes; there were no reports of injuries or damage.
