Israeli forces shot seven Palestinians, including two children, and assaulted three young men in separate regions of the northern West Bank governorate of Nablus.
On Saturday afternoon, occupation forces invaded the eastern part of the city of Nablus and deployed soldiers on Al-Quds Street near the Balata refugee camp, east of the city, sparking protests.
Media sources said that soldiers opened fire with live rounds at citizens who resisted the incursion, shooting seven, including two children.
According to Ahmad Jibril, the director of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Ambulance and Emergency Services in Nablus said that three soldiers shot three citizens with live rounds, including a child.
The Arab 48 news website reported that one young man was shot in the thigh and another in the back and added that armed resistance fighters exchanged fire with the attacking army.
Jibril added that four citizens sustained shrapnel wounds, including a child; all injuries were transported to hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, in Beita town, south of Nablus, Israeli soldiers stormed a Palestinian-owned home and assaulted three young men in the house, causing bruises and various injuries; two of the young men were transported to hospital.
Furthermore, occupation forces stormed the town of Qusra, southeast of Nablus, triggering protests among local Palestinian youths.
Media sources said that soldiers fired live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters towards citizens who resisted the incursion; no injuries were reported.
