Israeli forces shot two Palestinians, including a child, on Monday, and abducted a young man, and secured a settler incursion into Joseph’s Tomb, east of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
On Monday afternoon, occupation forces stormed the village of Qusra, southeast of Nablus in the northern West Bank, sparking protests.
Media sources said that soldiers fired live rounds, tear gas, and concussion grenades towards those who resisted the incursion, shooting two citizens, including a child.
According to sources with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), an 18-year-old young man was shot in the thigh, and a 17-year-old child sustained a shrapnel injury in the back and abdomen.
Meanwhile, before dawn, a large army force invaded the eastern area of Nablus city, triggering protests among local Palestinian youths.
Media sources said that armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged intense fire with the attacking army.
Sources added that the purpose of the military incursion was to secure the area for the protection of illegal settlers who would later storm the site of Joseph’s Tomb, east of the city.
It was added that occupation forces invaded and ransacked the home of the citizen, Amid Shakhshir, before abducting home from the city of Nablus.
Furthermore, at dawn Monday, dozens of illegal colonizers stormed Joseph’s Tomb a performed Talmudic rituals, while the occupation army provided them full security.
Media sources said that the army invaded the eastern region of the city, accompanied by a bulldozer which began razing streets surrounding the monument, sparking protests.
Sources added that occupation forces opened fire with live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters; no injuries were reported.
Quds News Network published a video revealing the army storming the town of Beita, south of Nablus, on Monday night, while Palestinian youths hurled rocks at the armored vehicles.
