Shouldn’t these human rights apply to all humans, not just those we choose. From Palestine to Darfur to Guantanamo Bay, when did we acquire the right to do just those things that caused us to revolt against the tyrannical rule of others. Our founding fathers would be the first to fight against such atrocities that the world has not seen since Nazi Germany. The terror that is inflicted on the Palestinians today, is the product of fascism and terrorism, nursed from Hitler and Mussolini’s breast and brought to fruition by the narrow-sightedness of the American Government.
As a matter of propaganda, complacency, or just plain apathy, Americans have become the unwitting dupes of a specific propaganda campaign, directed from overseas, and supported by our government. Like the cattle being herded to the slaughter, they blissfully follow the Zionist controlled media and the American government, who is on the payroll of the Israeli government and Zionist political action groups.
But, this is not a matter of Pro-Israel or Pro-Palestinian, it is about our American values and what do those values say about us as Americans. One step, just one step by the American government, to ease the suffering and humiliation of the Palestinians and grant them the rights that any human being should expect and deserve, would do more to fight terror than all of George W Bush’s wiretaps, invasions and lies. As long as there is one, just one, individual who knows the truth about what is occurring in the Middle East, there will never be peace. Using the war on terror as an excuse to turn your back on your fellow human beings and allow the type of suffering that is occurring is not only unforgivable, it is inhuman. THE WAR ON TERROR IS NOT A BLANK CHECK TO MURDER, TORTURE AND OPPRESS.
Greenpeace spends millions to save whales, PETA receives millions to save dogs, the lumber industry was shut down in the North West as a result of a spotted owl, why do 80% of all Palestinian children go to bed hungry every night? Why is a Palestinian child’s life and rights expendable? Where are our priorities? Do these words included in our Declaration of Independence mean anything to Americans anymore, since we have become the main supporter of the new King George Ohlmert. Now is the time to bring back the Wilsonian philosophy on what makes America great, leading the free world by example and not being a thug nation and ruling at the end of a Nuclear weapon and supporting those whose tyrannical rule, by an iron fist, disgraces our country. We need to embrace those ideals that made America the leader of freedom and liberty and not the leader of forced democracies. Ben Franklin stated that Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb. I will put my money on liberty every time.
