Palestinian medical sources in Hebron announced Sunday the injury of three Palestinian children by Israeli army gunfire.
A 17 year-old boy and two other younger children were shot and wounded with rubber-coated steel bullets after the Israeli army clashed with Palestinian residents of the Sa'eir and Alshiyoukh neighborhoods.
Local sources in Sa’eir said that the confrontations erupted when the Israeli army attacked a group of youths in the area.
Also in Hebron, Israel soldiers physically asaulted Palestinian civilian Hamza Alshawabka, 27, causing injury to various parts of his body. In the meantime, the Israeli army took prisoner today a number of Palestinians in Jenin city, local security sources confirmed. The sources said that the Israeli army has been stationed in different streets across Jenin under a gun fire shooting.
In the town of Tubas in the northern region of the West Bank, the Israeli army installed several mobile checkpoints throughout the town early on Sunday morning. Movement of locals and vehicles has been restricted as soldiers checked people’s identities for prolonged times. Meanwhile, Palestinian security sources said that several Israeli armored vehicles stormed the old city of Nablus and were positioned in the heart of the city and the Jabal Altour area.
