On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers abducted five Palestinians, including a father and his two sons, and injured three medics in Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.

Media sources said the soldiers invaded Hebron city, stormed and ransacked homes, and abducted Rashid ‘Oweida Misk and his sons Yahya and Ibrahim.

The army claimed that Rashid’s son, Mohammad, carried out the shooting attack in Jaffa; the soldiers also searched their home, causing extensive damage, and assaulted the family.

The army also invaded the home of Abdul-Fattah Al-Haimouni in Hebron, searched it, and caused damage, alleging that his son Ahmad participated in the shooting in Jaffa.

Additionally, the soldiers abducted Samer Jamal Zama’ra from Halhoul, north of Hebron, and Mohammad Waheed Al-Hreibi from Al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, after searching their homes and causing damage.

The soldiers also severely assaulted an ambulance crew, including Mohammad Al-Wahsh, Mohammad Abdul-Khaleq Abu Alan, and his brother Wisam, causing various cuts and bruises.

Furthermore, the army invaded the town of As-Samu’, south of Hebron, and ransacked several homes belonging to the Rawashdeh and Hawamda families.

The soldiers also set up several military roadblocks at the entrances of Hebron and its surrounding towns, villages, and refugee camps, and closed several main and side roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.

It is worth mentioning that seven Israelis were killed (Haaretz) and sixteen wounded, six seriously, in the shooting attack targeting the light rail station on Jerusalem Boulevard in Jaffa, before the two Palestinians, who allegedly carried the shooting out were killed.

The two Palestinians who were killed after allegedly carrying the shooting attack out have been identified as Mohammad Rashed Misk and Ahmad Abul-Fattah Al-Haimouni.
