On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded several towns in Nablus Governorate, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, stormed and ransacked homes, and abducted five Palestinians.
Media sources reported that the soldiers invaded the towns of Tell, Beita, and Burin, near Nablus before storming many homes.
They added that the soldiers abducted Sami Emad Mahmoud Yamin, Sameh Tayseer Othman Ramadan, and Youssef Hassan Hamad after invading their homes in Tell village, in addition to Mohammad Rawhi Ma’ali and Ahmad Mujahid Mu’alla after raiding their homes in Beita, south of Nablus.
It is worth mentioning that the army continues to tighten its siege on the city of Nablus by closing several military roadblocks and intensifying measures at other roadblocks, in addition to the constant invasions, assaults and abduction across the governorate.
The army completely closed several roadblocks, Monday morning, and intensified inspections and restrictions at other roadblocks, deepening the siege imposed on the West Bank governorates and isolating the northern from the southern parts of the occupied territory.
The sources explained that these measures led to severe traffic congestion at the roadblocks surrounding Nablus, where citizens suffer from prolonged inspections and deliberate humiliation by Israeli soldiers, increasing the daily suffering of the residents.
Also Monday, Palestinian Medical sources announced the death of Sheikh Ziad Abu Ehlayyel (66 years old) after he was violently assaulted by Israeli soldiers who stormed his home in the town of Doura, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
