On Sunday, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man in Nablus city and abducted four others, including a woman in the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces invaded the Old City of Nablus on Sunday morning, and opened fire with live rounds at Palestinian youths who protested the incursion.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Nablus reported that its ambulance crews transported a 20-year-old man to the hospital after he sustained a live gunshot wound to the leg.

Meanwhile, after midnight on Sunday, the army stormed the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, deployed infantry units in many neighborhoods, breaking into and ransacking several citizens’ homes.

Media sources said that occupation soldiers abducted four citizens identified as Iyad Abu Hamada, Mahmoud Al-Jabrini, Louay Hanoun, and the woman, Wafa Abu Zeitoun.

In related news, Israeli forces invaded the northern West Bank city of Jenin, at dawn Sunday, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.

Media sources said that several armored vehicles stormed Jenin city from its northern entrance, positioned units on various streets, and invaded a residential building.

Sources added that the soldiers abducted an unidentified young man, taking him to an unknown location, and detained another after subjecting them to interrogation.
