On Tuesday, Israeli forces killed four Palestinian men, and injured others, including a photojournalist and a child, during a brutal attack on the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

Since dawn Tuesday, occupation soldiers have killed eight Palestinian citizens in the Jenin and Tubas governorates in the northern and northeastern parts of the occupied West Bank.

On Tuesday night, an Israeli sharpshooter killed a Palestinian young man after shooting him in the chest with live ammunition during the ongoing attack.


Media sources identified the slain young man as Abdullah Khaled Abu Zaid, 22, while the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that their ambulance crews transported his body to the medical center in Qabatiya town.


The PRCS said that its crews transferred a wounded 3-year-old child to the Jenin Governmental Hospital, on Tuesday evening, as a result of being bitten by an Israeli attack dog.

Late Tuesday afternoon, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced that occupation forces killed three young men in Qabatiya town.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that its ambulance crews transported two bodies from inside a vehicle to a medical complex in Qabatiya.

Media sources said that occupation soldiers opened fire at a vehicle carrying two young men, before a military vehicle, struck the vehicle at a high rate of speed; the soldiers exited their vehicle to ensure that the men were dead.


Sources identified the two slain young men as Majdi Hamza Saba’neh and Omar Mustafa Saba’neh, while a third young man, was killed after being shot by an Israeli sharpshooter.

An Israeli sniper seriously injured Nasr Kamil, after shooting him in the chest with a live round, while he was on the rooftop of his family’s house; he was transported to Al-Razi Hospital in Jenin, where he succumbed to his wounds.


Palestinian photojournalist, Rabie Al-Munir, was shot in the abdomen with live bullet fragments while covering the events for Al-Arabiya TV; he was transported to hospital where his injury was described as stable.

Early Tuesday afternoon, the army besieged and bombed a home, and shot two Palestinian young men with live ammunition during the army’s ongoing aggression against the town.


The PRCS said that its ambulance crews transported two injured young men to hospital, after soldiers shot them; one young man was shot in the thigh with a live round, while the other suffered a shrapnel wound to the leg.

Media sources said that Israeli special forces besieged a citizen’s home at about noon on Tuesday, followed by military reinforcements, accompanied by a large excavator, before forcing residents of nearby homes to evacuate.

Sources added that the army fired “Energa” anti-tank grenades and live rounds at the besieged home before demolishing it with its heavy machinery; eyewitnesses accounts revealed that during the siege and demolition of the home, soldiers detained a young man and used him as a human shield.
