On Thursday, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man in Tulkarem refugee camp, in the occupied West Bank’s northwestern part.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) confirmed that its medics transferred the body of the slain Palestinian, Hareth Mohammad ‘Awfi, 22, to Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarem city.
The PRCS added that the young man was shot in the heart by an Israeli army sharpshooter stationed in a home the soldiers had stormed and occupied.
The PRCS also stated that its volunteer medics had to carry the slain Palestinian outside the refugee camp after the army refused to allow the ambulance through.
Earlier on Thursday, an Israeli drone fired two missiles at the refugee camp in separate attacks, wounding five Palestinians, including a mother and her special needs son.
At dawn on Thursday, Israeli soldiers shot and injured a young man in the Palestinian town of Anata, northeast of the occupied capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
On Wednesday night, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian man, Abdullah Mohammad Saeed Saadi, 53, injured several citizens and abducted others, during a prolonged military assault on the northern West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp.
Also, a young man suffered fractures and bruises after being severely beaten by Israeli occupation soldiers east of Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
On Tuesday, Israeli forces killed eight Palestinian citizens, six of whom were killed near Jenin in the northern West Bank, while two others were killed near Tubas, in the northeastern part of the West Bank.
The slain Palestinians were identified as;

3. Shawqi Fayyad Hassan Asous, 40,
4. Mohammad Hassan Musa Asous, 44,
5. Abdullah Khaled Abu Zaid, 22,
6. Majdi Hamza Saba’neh, 22,
7. Omar Mustafa Saba’neh, 23, and
8. Nasr Kamil, 18.
Since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed 779 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 167 children, and injured 6,300.
In the Gaza Strip, Israel has now killed at least 43.374 Palestinians, including 17.289 children and 11.815 women, and injured 102.261, including many children and women, in addition to more than 10.000 who remain under the rubble, across the destroyed and besieged coastal enclave, since October 7. 2023.
