Earlier Monday, Israeli soldiers broke into and ransacked dozens of homes across the occupied West Bank, abducted many Palestinians, and interrogated scores of residents.
In Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, Israeli soldiers invaded Samou’ town, south of the city, searched several homes, and abducted Khalil Yousef Hawamda and Ibrahim Ismael Damaghin. The soldiers also invaded Halhoul town, north of Hebron, searched a few homes, and abducted a teenage boy, Zeid Rami Allan.
Additionally, the soldiers invaded and ransacked dozens of homes in several villages and towns, and the Al-Fawwar refugee camp in the Hebron governorate, closing many streets with concrete blocks, iron barriers, and sand barriers.
In Qalqilia, in the northwestern West Bank, the soldiers invaded the city, searched homes, and abducted a young man identified as Waqqas Nofal.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the soldiers abducted Qussai Masud Makhlouf, 21, and Motaz Khamis Nakhla, 20, from their homes in the Al-Jalazoun refugee camp, and teenage boy, Salah Amro Dar Khalil, from his home in Sinjil town, north of the city.
The soldiers also invaded Doura Al-Qare’ school northeast of Ramallah and confiscated surveillance recordings and equipment.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society and the Palestinian Detainees’ Committee said in a joint statement that the army has abducted more than twelve Palestinians at dawn from various parts of the West Bank.
They reported that the soldiers detained families while searching and ransacking their homes and threatened severe restrictions and abductions if protests do not stop in their communities.
They also said the soldiers detained and interrogated dozens of young Palestinian men after forcing them out of their homes, in addition to interrogating many residents in their homes.
In related news, many Israeli military vehicles invaded Kifl Hares and Deir Istiya towns, northwest of Salfit in the occupied West Bank’s central part, before detaining and interrogating many Palestinians.
It is worth mentioning that the soldiers have abducted more than 11.900 Palestinians from various parts of the West Bank, including the occupied capital, Jerusalem, in addition to thousands in the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.
