On Friday dawn, a group of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded Douma village, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, attacked homes, and burnt three homes and two cars.

Local sources reported that the colonizers invaded the Khirbet Al-Marajem area in the village before burning the homes of Khaled Daoud, Nassim Mosallam, and Nayef Mosallam.

The sources added that the colonizers also burnt two Palestinian cars owned by Nayef Mosallam.

Furthermore, the colonizers attempted to abduct two Palestinian children, but the locals intercepted them.

Following the attack, Israeli soldiers invaded the village and fired live rounds and concussion grenades at the Palestinians who tried to extinguish the fires.

It is worth mentioning that Douma has been subject to seriously escalating violations by the Israeli soldiers and the paramilitary colonizers.

In related news, a group of paramilitary Israeli colonizers, accompanied by soldiers, invaded Kifl Hares town, northwest of Salfit in the occupied West Bank’s central part, before storming archaeological sites in the area.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
