Israeli forces shot and critically wounded a Palestinian young man on Tuesday evening, after invading the Al-Am’ari refugee camp in the central West Bank city of Al-Bireh.

The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that occupation forces shot a Palestinian citizen in the abdomen with live ammunition during their incursion into the Al-Am’ari refugee camp.

The Ministry added that a critically wounded citizen arrived at the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah after sustaining a live gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday night, the army stormed the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.

Media sources reported that Israeli forces stormed several neighborhoods in the town of Beit Fajjar, broke into a number of citizens’ homes, firing concussion grenades and tear gas canisters at citizens.

Several Palestinians sustained inhalation injuries from tear gas exposure; they were treated at the scene by local medics.

The army stormed and ransacked citizens’ homes in the town of Tuqu’, south of the city, in addition to invading the towns of Dar Salah, Al-Shawawra, and Za’tara to the southeast.

Earlier Tuesday, occupation forces assaulted an elderly Palestinian man in the village of Beit Imrin, northwest of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

Amjad Ahmad, the director of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulance and emergency center in Nablus, reported that its ambulance crews transported a 65-year-old man to the hospital after he was assaulted by Israeli soldiers in the village.

In related news, the army seriously wounded a 34-year-old Palestinian man late Monday night, during a military invasion into the village of Ajjul, north of Ramallah.

Sources said that occupation forces shot the young man in the head with live ammunition while he was in front of his home; he was transported to the hospital for treatment.

On Tuesday morning, Israeli forces shot a young man while he was in the vicinity of the Apartheid Wall, in the town of Ar-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem.

Media sources reported that a young man sustained a live gunshot injury in his lower extremities, after occupation soldiers opened fire at him near the Apartheid Wall, in Ar-Ram town.
