Early Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces carried out military invasions across the occupied West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem. Forces broke into dozens of homes and abducted several Palestinians, including a journalist and a physician, as part of a broader ongoing military operation across the territory. Local sources also reported assaults on residents, protests in several communities, and attacks by Israeli colonizers.
In Hableh, south of Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted Ahmad Issam Odah. In the town of Azzun east of Qalqilia, an undercover unit infiltrated the area before troops broke into numerous homes and abducted five young men identified as Mustafa Shaher Azar, Ayman Bilal Enaya, Sa’id Salim, Jihad Salim Abu Khaled, and Laith Jihad Salim.
In Nablus in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded Al-Badhan, northeast of the city, and searched the village.
Also, residents of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, reported that a colonizer from a nearby illegal colonial outpost directed laser beams at homes in the town.
Israeli forces also broke into a residential building in the Northern Mountain area of Nablus, another building near Ein Refugee Camp west of the city, and a home in Tal, southwest of Nablus.
Protests were also reported in Madama, south of Nablus, where Israeli forces fired tear gas and stun grenades toward residents.
Israeli forces also invaded Beita and Asira al-Qibliya, south of Nablus, before abducting brothers Assem and Yasser Ali Makhlouf.
In a separate invasion in the Koroum Ashour area of Nablus, forces abducted brothers Odai and Mohammad Abu Al-Laban.
A 28-year-old Palestinian was injured after Israeli soldiers assaulted him in the Ras al-Ein area of Nablus and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
In Jenin in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the village of Aba east of the city and conducted searches of homes.
In Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, troops invaded the town of Deir al-Ghusoon north of the city, broke into homes, and abducted Sa’id Zaid Odah and Mazen Zubeidi.
In Ramallah in the central West Bank, Israeli forces abducted physician Dima Barakat from her home. Forces also invaded the Al-Hafer area of Deir Jarir, east of the city.
In Salfit in the central West Bank, several Israeli military vehicles and a military bulldozer invaded Wadi al-Sha’er, between Al-Lubban al-Sharqiya and Salfit, where land-clearing and search operations were reported.
In the Jordan Valley, troops invaded the village of Fasayil north of Jericho, where a large military force broke into homes and searched residents’ properties.
In Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted journalist Abdul-Rahman Hassan after breaking into his home during an invasion of Al-Saff Street in the city center.
Troops also invaded Dheisheh Refugee Camp south of Bethlehem and the town of Beit Fajjar.
Protests also erupted in Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem, where soldiers fired tear gas and stun grenades toward local residents.
In a separate incident, Israeli colonizers stormed the eastern area of Al-Maniya village, southeast of Bethlehem, and blocked roads, preventing Palestinians from reaching local businesses and other destinations.
In ath-Thaheriya, south of Hebron, Israeli forces continued a large-scale invasion. They imposed a curfew, searched homes, and carried out a campaign of abductions.
Troops broke into numerous homes in several neighborhoods, converted some buildings into military positions, and closed roads throughout the city during the operation.
During the invasion of ath-Thaheriya, soldiers smashed and damaged several Palestinian-owned vehicles parked in front of an auto-parts store.
Also in Hebron, an Israeli colonizer released his livestock around Palestinian homes in the Shu’ab Al-Batem area of Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces invaded Kafr Aqab and Qalandia refugee camp, north of the city, as well as Beit Duqqu, northwest of the city. They abducted two Palestinians from Qalandia and one from Beit Duqqu. Soldiers also severely beat Palestinian resident Mahmoud Atiya after violently searching his home.
During the invasions, soldiers stormed and ransacked several homes, including the family home of Ahmad Aslan, 20, in Qalandia refugee camp. Israeli forces killed Aslan in July 2024.
In Silwan town, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Ashraf Al-Aw’ar, the Palestinian Minister of Jerusalem Affairs, from his home.
The invasions and abductions took place amid an ongoing Israeli military campaign across the occupied West Bank. Home searches, military roadblocks, and abductions continue to be reported across multiple governorates, alongside increased violations by Israeli colonizers.
