On Thursday evening, a group of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers launched an assault on the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank’s central part.

Local sources reported that dozens of colonizers stormed the western outskirts of the village, targeting the agricultural plain between Al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah. Unarmed Palestinian residents confronted the attackers in defense of their homes and land.

Israeli occupation forces later invaded the village to provide protection for the colonizers, sparking confrontations during which soldiers fired stun grenades and toxic gas canisters at civilians. No injuries were reported.

Al-Mughayyir and surrounding communities in the eastern and northeastern Ramallah district have faced repeated attacks by colonizers in recent months.

These violent incursions have led to the killing and injury of Palestinian civilians, the burning of homes and agricultural structures, destruction of farmland and property, and the defacement of property with racist slogans, part of a systematic campaign to forcibly displace Palestinian residents and entrench colonial expansion.

On Friday dawn, a group of colonizers bulldozed Palestinian lands in Salem village, east of Nablus in the northern West Bank. The lands are in an area overlooking Beit Dajan Meadow and Beit Furik town.
