Israeli forces, on Sunday, shot a Palestinian man near Bethlehem, assaulted another in Hebron, in the southern West Bank, and abducted many others in Tulkarem, Nablus, Bethlehem, and Hebron.

Media sources said that occupation forces shot a Palestinian young man with live ammunition on Sunday afternoon, in the Wadi al-Hummus area, east of Bethlehem.

The director of the Al-Ubaidiya Ambulance services, Mohammed Allan, told the WAFA News Agency that its ambulance crews transported a young man to a Bethlehem hospital for treatment for a live gunshot wound to the knee.


Meanwhile, on Sunday afternoon, the army invaded the city of Hebron and a number of towns nearby, abducted two citizens and assaulted one.

Media sources said that occupation forces stormed the southern area of Hebron city, and abducted Ahmed Sharif Nasr Ghaith and Humam Ibrahim Rashid Abu Hamdiya Ghaith, in addition to detaining and assaulting Muhammad Nour al-Din Abu Turki, before releasing him.

The sources added that Israeli forces invaded the towns of Sa’ir, Ash-Shuyukh, northeast of Hebron, and Beit Kahil, to the northwest.

Furthermore, Israeli forces abducted seven Palestinian citizens, stormed many homes, and summoned a citizen for interrogation, in the Bethlehem governorate on Sunday morning.

Media sources said that occupation forces abducted Abdullah Barakat Abu Najma, Mustafa Suleiman Abayat, Muhammad Ayman Kanaan, Muhammad Amer Abu Mahmid, Daoud Khalaf Salem, Abdullah Muhammad Abdullah Shuka, and Mahmoud Ismail Jabr, after invading their homes in various areas of the governorate.

The sources added that occupation forces abducted citizens from the city of Bethlehem, and the towns and villages of Abu Nujaym, Beit Ta’mir, Ash-Shawawra, and Wadi Shahin.

Soldiers invaded and searched the home of Muhammad Ibrahim Abu Ahour in Abu Nujaym, before handing him a summons for an intelligence review.

Also on Sunday morning, the army stormed the city of Hebron and the town of Doura, southwest of the city, and abducted two Palestinian citizens.

Media sources reported that Israeli soldiers invaded a number of neighborhoods in Hebron city, and abducted Mustafa al-Tawil, after breaking into and searching his home.

The sources added that occupation forces abducted Tamer Abu Arqoub from his home in Doura town, while soldiers fired concussion grenades and tear gas canisters; no injuries were reported.

In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted five Palestinians from their homes in several areas of the Nablus governorate, on Sunday morning.

Media sources said that the army invaded and ransacked many homes in the towns and villages of Sebastia, Azmut, Beit Furik, Urif, Qusra, and Tal, abducting the citizens, Qutaiba Abdul Karim Azem, Musab Mleitat, Hussam al-Din Adnan Ishtia, Muqdad Samir Awni Sabah, and Nadim Wajih Abu Rida.

In the afternoon, the army invaded the town of Beit Furik, southeast of Nablus, sparking protests among local Palestinian citizens.


Media sources reported that occupation forces stormed several citizens’ homes in the center of Beit Furik town, while opening heavy fire with live rounds and tear gas canisters; no injuries were reported.

Moreover, Israeli forces abducted seven Palestinians, including former prisoners, in the Tulkarem governorate, in the northwestern part of the West Bank, at dawn Sunday.

Media sources said that occupation forces stormed the towns of Illar, and Saida, north of Tulkarem, and abducted Mujahid Burhan Shadid, Muhammad Sultan Malah, Thaer Zein al-Ashqar, Abdul Wael al-Ashqar, Saddam Hassan Raddad, Walid Raddad, and his son, Ibrahim, after invading their homes.

In related news, the army invaded the village of Tayasir, northeast of Tubas, on Sunday afternoon, and the city of Qalqilia ar dawn Sunday, in the northeastern and northwestern parts of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces stormed the Kafr Saba neighborhood of Qalqilia city at dawn, positioned sharpshooters on rooftops, and fired live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters; no arrests or injuries were reported.

Sources added that on Sunday afternoon, occupation forces stormed the village of Tayasir, invaded at least one home, while local Palestinians protested the incursion; no arrests were reported.
