A Palestinian civilian was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday evening in the Jabalia refugee camp, located in northern Gaza.

The killing occurred amid continued Israeli violations also involving the demolition of residential buildings in the eastern part of the Strip.

Local sources confirmed that the man was shot while Israeli forces opened fire on displaced Palestinians in the refugee camp.

Separately, Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza, confirmed the arrival of four recently released detainees who had been held in the Israeli military detention facility known as “Sde Teiman.” The hospital reported that all four individuals are in stable condition.

The released detainees have been identified as Ahmad Nafeth Ismail Baraka (29), from eastern Khan Younis, Arafat Odah Mahmoud Shomali (32), and Shadi Ibrahim Salman Abu Amra (31), both from Shuja’iyya, in addition to Imran Mahmoud Mohammad Al-Kharibi (23), from Khan Younis.

Earlier Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of coordinated attacks across the Gaza Strip, in direct violation of the ceasefire agreement brokered last month. The assaults targeted both northern and southern regions, intensifying the humanitarian crisis and further destabilizing civilian life.

On Tuesday, hospitals across the devastated Gaza Strip have received the bodies of three slain Palestinians and one injured individual over the past 24 hours, the Palestinian Health Ministry has reported.

Medical sources reported that the cumulative death toll in Gaza has reached 69,185, the majority of whom are children and women, since October 7, 2023. The number of wounded has risen to 170,698, with many victims still trapped under rubble and inaccessible to emergency teams.

In the past 24 hours, the bodies of three additional victims were recovered under rubble. Since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, Israeli violations have persisted, resulting in 245 additional deaths, 627 injuries, and the recovery of 532 bodies.
