Media sources reported that Israeli forces invaded “Airport Street,” adjacent to the refugee camp, delivered demolition notices to several shops, and ordered their owners to evacuate them.

This move comes as the Israeli military carries out a second consecutive day of large‑scale invasions and demolitions north of occupied Jerusalem, including invasions of Kafr Aqab and the area surrounding Qalandia refugee camp, under the pretext of tightening control along the route of the separation and expansion wall.
As part of this ongoing offensive, Israeli forces have already begun demolishing Palestinian structures.

It follows recent Israeli official reports acknowledging significant gaps along the Annexation Wall’s route, particularly around Jerusalem, which the occupation uses as a pretext to intensify military and punitive measures against Palestinian residents.
The Jerusalem Governorate confirmed that the demolitions underway on Airport Street near Qalandia refugee camp are being carried out on Plot No. 1, adjacent to the UNRWA‑run Qalandia Training Center, noting that the land is officially registered in the land registry as “Airport Lands – Treasury of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.”

Furthermore, Israeli occupation forces demolished four Palestinian homes on Tuesday morning in the town of Barta’a, northwest of Jenin in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, the Barta’a Municipality has confirmed.
