On Wednesday, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man and injured others in the West Bank governorates of Hebron and Jerusalem.
On Wednesday evening, a Palestinian young man was shot and wounded after Israeli forces opened fire towards his vehicle at a military roadblock south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces opened fire towards a civilian vehicle in the Al-Fahs area, shooting one young man in the leg with live ammunition; he was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the army detained and assaulted a number of Palestinian citizens after invading the Al-Fawwar refugee camp and the town of Dura, on Wednesday evening.
WAFA correspondent reported that a number of military vehicles stormed the town of Dura, southwest of Hebron, while soldiers fired tear gas canisters. The soldiers stopped citizens’ vehicles, detaining and abusing three citizens; no injuries were reported.
At the same time, occupation forces invaded the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of the city, detained and assaulted an unidentified young man, and fired tear gas canisters and concussion grenades at citizens’ homes; no injuries were reported.
Furthermore, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported a young man to the hospital after he was assaulted by occupation forces near the Jaba’ military roadblock, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
Earlier, the army stormed the town of Kafr Aqab and the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, sparking protests among Palestinian citizens.
Soldiers fired tear gas canisters at those who resisted the incursion, causing five citizens, including an elderly woman and children to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
In related news, a child sustained injuries following the explosion of an unidentified object while he was playing near his home in Khirbet Jinba in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
Osama Makhamra, a local activist told the WAFA News Agency that 11-year-old Khalil Ayman Rabai was injured to an unknown degree as a result of an unexploded ordinance.
Eyewitnesses said that a large army force was present in the area two days prior while conducting home invasions and arrests.
