Israeli warplanes and drones carried out several attacks across the central and northern Gaza Strip on Monday, killing multiple Palestinians and wounding others, as civilian areas continue to come under fire despite the declared ceasefire framework.

Two Palestinians were killed and six others were injured on Monday afternoon when an Israeli warplane targeted a group of civilians near the Abu ‘Aasi entrance southwest of Al‑Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

Medical sources confirmed that the strike hit a tent in the Al‑Ikhwa Camp area, killing Ibrahim Al‑Khaldi and another unidentified man who were transferred to Al‑Awda Hospital in An‑Nuseirat. Six others were wounded, several of them in critical condition.

In a separate attack, Israeli drones fired missiles at the telecommunications area in the Al‑Falluja neighborhood west of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, killing Nahidh Mahmoud Atallah and injuring another Palestinian.

Furthermore,, an elderly woman known as “Um Jihad” Al‑Ashqar died from wounds she sustained days ago after being shot by Israeli forces in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

In addition, a young man was shot in the neck by an Israeli “quad‑copter” drone near At‑Tayyib Hall in Beit Lahia. His condition was described as moderate.

Earlier in the day, a ten‑year‑old child, Ahmad Atallah Ahmad Fayed, suffered critical injuries after Israeli forces opened fire east of Al‑Bureij refugee camp. Medical teams said the child was struck by live ammunition fired toward civilians in the area.

In a related incident, a woman from the Tel Al‑Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City was shot by an Israeli automated machine gun mounted on a crane positioned east of the city. Medical sources said she sustained moderate injuries.

According to medical authorities, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in various parts of the Gaza Strip since dawn Sunday has risen to eleven. Eight Palestinians were killed in two separate airstrikes targeting gatherings in the “Bir 19” area of Al‑Mawasi, west of Khan Younis.

Another Palestinian was shot and killed by Israeli forces near the Bani Suheila roundabout east of Khan Younis.

Earlier Monday, Israeli military violations killed three Palestinians and wounded several others at dawn in an area southeast of Gaza City.

Since the “ceasefire” announcement on October 11, the cumulative toll has reached 705 Palestinians killed, 1,914 injured, and 756 bodies recovered from different areas of the Gaza Strip.

The cumulative death toll from the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,281 Palestinians killed and 172,014 injured since October 7, 2023, according to the Ministry of Health. Officials note that these figures are updated regularly as hospitals receive new information and as verification efforts continue under extremely difficult conditions.

Health authorities stress that the true toll is almost certainly higher. Entire neighborhoods remain inaccessible due to the relentless Israeli bombardment, the siege, and the widespread destruction of roads and civil‑defense infrastructure.

Thousands of people are still missing, many believed to be buried beneath the rubble of destroyed homes or left in areas rescue teams cannot reach.

The Ministry continues to warn that ongoing Israeli violations, the collapse of emergency services, and the obstruction of humanitarian access have severely hindered efforts to document casualties, retrieve bodies, and provide medical care.

As a result, the published numbers represent only those who have reached medical facilities or been recovered by rescue crews.
