Israeli occupation forces carried out widespread invasions across the occupied West Bank at dawn on Wednesday, breaking into homes, abducting Palestinians, and imposing movement restrictions in several districts, including Nablus, Jenin, Qalqilia, Bethlehem, Jericho, and Tubas.
In Nablus in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded several neighborhoods of the city, breaking into homes and commercial properties.
Local sources reported that the soldiers abducted Abdul‑Rahman Al‑Qouqa and Ziyad Al‑Jadd from the western area of the city and abducted the minor Bara’ Al‑Zaghal from the Public Housing neighborhood in eastern Nablus.
The army also invaded the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, where soldiers broke into and searched multiple homes before abducting five Palestinians: Amir Wadi, Ramzi Hass, Qoteiba Abu Reid, Khaled Abu Reid, and Ra’fat Al‑‘Ajjouri. Forces additionally invaded the village of ‘Urif, south of Nablus, and conducted searches.
In Jenin in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the town of Ya‘bad, south of the city, breaking into numerous homes and abducting eight Palestinians.
Local sources identified them as Mus’ab Harzallah, Ala’ Kabaha, Tareq Abu Bakr, Mahmoud Hamarsha, Ward Mitani, Ahmad Atatra, Yousef ‘Amarna, and Tareq Al‑Mallas. Residents reported that soldiers also detained and interrogated several others inside their homes before withdrawing.
In Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces erected two military roadblocks at the eastern and southern entrances to the city, stopping Palestinian vehicles, inspecting passengers’ identity cards, and causing severe traffic congestion.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces invaded the Ath‑Thuri neighborhood in Silwan, south of Al‑Aqsa Mosque, where they closed streets, inspected vehicles, and examined the identity cards of Palestinian residents.
In Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the village of Marah Rabah, south of the city, breaking into and searching several homes belonging to Saleh Mustafa Al‑Sheikh, Ahmad Qassem Al‑Sheikh, and his brother Ibrahim. No abductions were reported.
The army also invaded the nearby village of Al‑Malha, east of Bethlehem, where soldiers searched the home of Murad Jaddal and ransacked its contents.
In Jericho in the eastern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded Aqabat Jabr refugee camp and abducted Mahmoud ‘Awadat after breaking into his home and searching it.
In Tubas in the northeastern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the town of Tammun, southeast of the city, and began breaking into homes. Local residents reported that the invasion was still ongoing at the time of reporting.
These coordinated invasions and abductions are part of a sustained escalation by Israeli forces across the occupied West Bank, targeting Palestinian communities through home invasions, movement restrictions, and the expansion of military control over civilian areas.
