Israeli occupation forces continued, for the 199th consecutive day, to violate the fragile “ceasefire” in the Gaza Strip, carrying out home demolitions, artillery strikes, drone attacks, and live‑fire assaults that resulted in multiple Palestinian fatalities and injuries across the enclave.

On Sunday morning, three Palestinians were killed in two separate incidents south of Gaza City. Medical teams at the Shifa Medical Complex received the bodies of Mohammad Riyad al‑Ashqar and Mohammad Ziad al‑Ashqar, who were killed while riding a motorcycle near Kuwait Junction.

A third Palestinian, Mahmoud Saleh Jaber, was shot dead by Israeli forces in the al‑Mughraqa area after tanks advanced toward Salah al‑Din Street and opened fire at civilians attempting to cross.

The Civil Defense later confirmed the death of Rami Ramzi Ghaban, who succumbed to wounds sustained in an Israeli strike on the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood after his condition deteriorated.

In Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, a Palestinian woman, Hoda Jom’a Ramadan al‑Attar, 40, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers in the eastern part of the city.

Over the past 48 hours, Israeli artillery bombardment and drone fire intensified across eastern and southern Gaza, particularly in and around Khan Younis, killing more than twelve Palestinians and injuring dozens. Several victims remain under the rubble in areas rescue teams cannot reach due to ongoing Israeli fire and destroyed access roads.

Israeli forces also carried out widespread bulldozing and demolition operations targeting civilian infrastructure, including educational facilities in southern Khan Younis, while naval and air forces struck areas in western and eastern Gaza. Drone activity increased significantly over eastern Khan Younis amid heightened field tension.

Meanwhile, a new group of wounded and ill Palestinians left Gaza through the Rafah crossing on Sunday morning to receive medical treatment abroad.

In Italy, the Global Solidarity Flotilla completed preparations for a new mission aimed at breaking the Israeli blockade and delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza. The civilian initiative, launched in 2025 and now operating under the Spring Mission 2026, is preparing for its second voyage from Italian shores.

According to medical sources in Gaza, the cumulative death toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,587 Palestinians, with 172,381 injured. Since the “ceasefire” took effect on October 11, 2025, 811 Palestinians have been killed and 2,278 injured, while 761 bodies have been recovered from beneath destroyed buildings. Officials warn that additional victims remain under the rubble and along roadways where rescue teams cannot safely reach.
