Israeli occupation forces demolished agricultural structures and water facilities on Thursday in separate incidents east of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank and in the northern Jordan Valley.

In the town of Za‘tara, east of Bethlehem, Israeli forces invaded the Wadi al‑Ta’amra area, sealed it off, and demolished an agricultural room belonging to Adel Ayed al‑Bajjali, municipal engineer Mohammad Thuweib said.

Soldiers also demolished a cement water reservoir in the al‑Mshamees area, owned by Malek Sorour.

In the northern Jordan Valley, Israeli bulldozers carried out the demolition of several plastic greenhouses near the village of Bardala.

Local sources said the bulldozers destroyed greenhouses covering two dunams, along with a water network belonging to farmer Mahmoud Tawfiq Sawafta.

They also demolished four dunams of greenhouses and water lines belonging to farmer Saqr Naif Sawafta, and three dunams and water networks belonging to Sahab Naif Sawafta.

Residents noted that Israeli forces had issued demolition notices three months earlier targeting approximately 50 dunams of plastic greenhouses near Bardala, part of an ongoing effort to restrict Palestinian agricultural activity in the area.

These demolitions come amid a continued pattern of Israeli occupation measures targeting Palestinian agricultural infrastructure across the occupied West Bank.
