Israeli occupation forces carried out widespread invasions across the occupied West Bank overnight and early Wednesday, accompanied by a series of assaults by illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers targeting Palestinian residents and their property.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the Askar refugee camp at dawn, broke into dozens of homes, and ransacked their contents before abducting Ali Ahmad Mustafa Qandil.
Illegal colonizers also assaulted Rami Nassar, head of the village council of Majdal Bani Fadel in the northern West Bank, while he was passing near the Ariel colony. He was transferred to hospital for treatment.
In Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank, several military vehicles invaded the village of Tayasir, where infantry units spread through multiple neighborhoods, broke into homes, and conducted field interrogations with residents.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, a large Israeli military force invaded the village of al-Jodeida, south of the city, stormed numerous homes, interrogated residents in the streets, and caused extensive damage to household property.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the al-Jalazone refugee camp north of al-Bireh and fired a heavy barrage of tear gas canisters toward residential homes.
The village has witnessed a sharp escalation in colonizer violence in recent weeks, including attempted vehicular assaults, attacks on homes, injuries among residents, and repeated assaults on shepherds.
In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, colonizer militias launched an attack on the town of Surif, damaging vehicles and targeting homes and cars, causing damage.
Colonizers also invaded the Khirbet al-Kharaba area near the town of al-Samu‘, accompanied by their livestock, while Israeli forces secured their access to Palestinian agricultural lands and allowed them to release livestock onto fields in the Khallet al-Hummus area of Masafer Yatta.
In Bethlehem, in the southern West Bank, illegal colonizers attacked homes in the village of al-Miniya, southeast of the city, pelting them with stones and causing panic among residents, particularly children.
Also in Bethlehem, Israeli forces installed a military roadblock at the main entrance to the western rural area, in the al-Shurafa zone near the al-Shuli neighborhood, obstructing movement on the road leading to Battir, Nahalin, Husan, and Wadi Fukin.
The roadblock caused significant traffic delays and prevented workers and university students from reaching their destinations. On Tuesday evening, Israeli forces also closed several main and secondary entrances to the village of Husan with earth mounds and concrete blocks.
In Tulkarem, in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted university student Ahmad Majed Shaker al-Jallad after breaking into and searching his family home.
In Salfit, in the central West Bank, Israeli forces abducted former prisoner Nu‘man Bashar Khoffash after invading his family home in the village of Marda.
The district continues to experience frequent invasions involving home break-ins and repeated abductions.
In related news, The Israeli occupation authorities, on Wednesday, extended the detention of a player on the Palestinian national women’s team.
The Jerusalem Governorate stated that the occupation forces prolonged the detention of national football team player Rand Al‑Halawani, 20, from occupied Jerusalem, until next Friday.
Al‑Halawani had been summoned yesterday for interrogation at the “Talpiot” police station in western Jerusalem.
After questioning her, the occupation authorities detained her and transferred her to court, which ordered the extension of her detention.
