Israeli occupation forces carried out widespread bulldozing and uprooting operations across several districts of the occupied West Bank on Thursday, destroying farmland, uprooting olive and fruit trees, and opening new areas for illegal paramilitary colonizers.
Farmers and local councils described the day’s assaults as another blow to communities already struggling with land loss, movement restrictions, and repeated attacks on their livelihoods.
In the Jenin district, in the northern West Bank, Israeli bulldozers continued leveling farmland in Zububa town, northwest of Jenin, uprooting dozens of long‑standing olive trees and flattening cultivated plots.
Residents said these operations follow weeks of closures at Zububa’s entrances, where earth mounds have repeatedly blocked farmers from reaching their lands.
At the same time, occupation machinery began clearing land in ‘Arabuna town, northeast of Jenin, specifically in Basin No. 2, expanding the destruction east of the city.
South of Nablus, also in the northern West Bank, extensive bulldozing was reported in ‘Iraq Burin village, where agricultural terraces and grazing areas were destroyed.
Additional clearing took place near Qusra, also south of Nablus, where occupation forces expanded a previously bulldozed strip close to the “Esh Kodesh” outpost, an area frequently targeted by colonizers attempting to seize nearby farmland.
In the Bethlehem district, Israeli forces bulldozed agricultural lands in Battir town, west of Bethlehem city, uprooting around 80 olive and almond saplings.
Resident Mohammad Abu Harithiya said occupation forces invaded the “Ein Abu al‑Harith” area and bulldozed his two‑dunam plot along with another two dunams belonging to his cousin Sa’id.
After the destruction, colonizers were allowed to graze sheep on the newly cleared land and among the uprooted trees.
In Al‑Khader town, south of Bethlehem, Israeli forces uprooted more than 40 olive trees in the Al‑Baloa’ area near the bypass road leading to the “Efrat” illegal colony.
In the Hebron district, in the southern West Bank, Israeli bulldozers continued clearing farmland near Beit Ummar, north of Hebron city, expanding destruction in the Wadi al‑Shakhit area adjacent to the “Karmei Tzur” illegal colony.
Farmers reported the uprooting of olive trees and the leveling of terraces, describing the operation as part of ongoing settlement‑expansion pressure on the village.
In the Salfit district, in the central West Bank, occupation forces resumed bulldozing in Wadi Qana, targeting land belonging to residents of Deir Istiya town, northwest of Salfit city.
The clearing focused on agricultural terraces and irrigation lines in an area repeatedly targeted by colonizers seeking to expand grazing zones and link nearby outposts.
In the Jordan Valley, human rights monitors reported that occupation forces uprooted palm seedlings and destroyed irrigation networks in the Fasayil Al-Wusta Bedouin community, part of a long-running campaign to pressure Palestinian farmers and expand settler-controlled agricultural zones.
Thursday’s coordinated bulldozing and uprooting operations highlight the growing pressure on Palestinian agricultural communities across the West Bank.
Farmers say the destruction not only threatens their livelihoods but also deepens the fragmentation of Palestinian land under expanding colonial infrastructure, leaving families with fewer resources and shrinking access to the fields they depend on.
