Illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers carried out a series of assaults across the occupied West Bank and occupied Jerusalem on Monday, invading Palestinian communities, burning homes and farmland, attacking residents, destroying crops, besieging homes, and advancing new colonial expansion projects.

In occupied Jerusalem, 133 colonizers invaded the courtyards of the Al‑Aqsa Mosque through the Moroccan Gate under heavy police protection and conducted provocative tours and Talmudic rituals after Israeli police forcibly removed Palestinian worshipers from the area.

In the Hebron governorate, in southern West Bank, armed colonizers burned a Palestinian home in Khirbet Um Zureit, east of Shu’ab al‑Batem in Masafer Yatta. The home belongs to Mohammad Abdul‑Rahman Jabareen, and the attack caused extensive damage.

In the Nablus governorate, in northern West Bank, colonizers stole a farm tractor belonging to Munir Shaker Haj Suleiman from the village of Beit Imrin, northwest of Nablus. Colonizers also invaded the outskirts of al‑Lubban al‑Sharqiya, south of Nablus, and conducted provocative tours near homes and the village’s new mosque.

For a second consecutive day, colonizers continued to besiege a Palestinian home in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus.

Local sources said colonizers erected a tent in front of the home, located in the Ras al‑‘Ain area, blocked access to it, prevented food from entering, and barred those inside from leaving.

The two‑story villa belongs to Luay Abdul‑Mon’em Abu Reida, a U.S. citizen who is currently abroad. His brother, Qusai Abu Reida; his son, Ahmad; and other family members remain inside. Colonizers have attempted to seize the home for nearly four months, prompting members of the Abu Reida family to maintain a round‑the‑clock presence in shifts to protect it.

Colonizers have repeatedly cut electricity, thrown stones, and surrounded the home multiple times. The house sits on a high ridge overlooking the southern Nablus area.

In the Ramallah governorate, in central West Bank, colonizers released livestock onto Palestinian agricultural land in the al‑Khalayel area south of al‑Mughayyer, destroying crops.

In the eastern plain of al‑Mughayyer, colonizers attacked Palestinian farmers. Residents confronted them, and no injuries were reported. Colonizers also invaded the al‑Hafer area of Deir Jarir and spread across the land. Other colonizers invaded Palestinian property in ‘Ein az‑Zarqa, near Beitillu, and harassed residents.

Additional groups of colonizers vandalized property and intimidated residents near homes belonging to the Abu Fazza’ family, east of al‑Taybeh, east of Ramallah, and close to the illegal outpost of Karmilo.

The colonizers also invaded the al-Ka’abna Bedouin community, east of Taybeh, before attacking the locals and international solidarity activists.

Later in the day, colonizers set fire to agricultural land in Jaljulia, north of Ramallah. Palestinian Civil Defense crews extinguished the blaze.

The land belongs to residents of Jaljulia, Sinjil, and al‑Mazra‘a al‑Sharqiya. Local officials noted that colonizers established an outpost in the area about a year ago and seized homes belonging to residents of al‑Mazra‘a al‑Sharqiya.

In addition, a group of colonizers invaded the eastern area of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, and established a new colonial outpost.

In the Jenin governorate, in northern West Bank, colonizers cut down dozens of fruit trees, including guava and avocado trees, in Khirbet Farrasin, west of Jenin. The land belongs to Raed Ahmad Nasser Amarna.

Also in Jenin, a group of colonizers invaded Palestinian lands in the village of Meithalun, south of the city.

Meanwhile, far-right Israeli ministers and Knesset members laid the cornerstone for a new colony named “Emek Dotan” on land belonging to Arraba town, southwest of Jenin. The site lies in one of the governorate’s most fertile agricultural areas.

In the Bethlehem governorate, Israeli occupation forces and colonizers jointly invaded Khalayel al‑Louz and Abu Njeim, southeast of Bethlehem, and deployed along the main road.

The invasion coincided with a visit to Khalayel al‑Louz by a diplomatic delegation organized by the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to assess conditions in the Bethlehem governorate.

In the northern Jordan Valley, armed colonizers invaded the Ein al‑Hilweh community, assaulted residents, and emptied water tanks belonging to Palestinian families, according to local council head Mahdi Daraghma.

The Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission reported that Israeli soldiers and colonizers carried out 2,256 attacks against Palestinians and their property in July alone—1,458 by Israeli occupation forces and 798 by colonizers.

The Commission said the concentration of attacks in Ramallah (260), Nablus (247), Jenin (190), Bethlehem (185), and Hebron (170) demonstrates coordination between escalating military invasions and increasingly dangerous colonizer attacks.

It added that the Israeli army provides protection, support, and an enabling environment that allows colonizer assaults to expand and become permanent facts on the ground.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention prohibits collective punishment and acts of terror against civilian populations.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.

Articles 53 and 147, prohibit the destruction of civilian property and classify pillage as a war crime.
