Israeli occupation forces continued military operations across the occupied West Bank at dawn Thursday, invading cities, towns, and refugee camps, abducting many Palestinians during home invasions and violent searches, amidst the deployment of additional military units across multiple governorates.

In Jenin in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted Saddam Hussein Asa’sa. 19, and Nasruddin Sammour from their homes during an invasion of the Al-Zahra’ neighborhood in Jenin city.

The soldiers also abducted Abdul-Rahman Abu Alia, 19, after an undercover unit infiltrated the Al-Bayader area in the city’s eastern neighborhood.

Shortly afterward, military reinforcements were deployed to eastern Jenin following the undercover operation and the siege of a home. Israeli forces also invaded the town of Al- Judeida, south of Jenin.

Also in Jenin, Israeli forces invaded Ya’bad town, southwest of the city, forcibly displaced three Palestinian families from their homes and turned the building into a military post.

Furthermore, Israeli soldiers invaded areas east of Jenin and closed several roads to Palestinians to secure illegal colonizers who were “celebrating” the reestablishment of the illegal Ganim colony, which Israel evacuated twenty years earlier.

Bezalel Smotrich, leader of the far-right Religious Zionist Party, finance minister, and a minister in the Ministry of Defense with authority over civilian affairs in the occupied West Bank, accompanied the colonizers during their invasion and provocative activities on stolen Palestinian lands.

In Nablus in the northern West Bank, a large Israeli military force accompanied by a military bulldozer invaded the town of Qusra southeast of the city.

Elsewhere in the governorate, Israeli forces severely assaulted a young Palestinian after breaking into his home in the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus, in addition to invading Salem town, east of the city, and Qusra town, southeast of Nablus.

During the invasions, which included several armored vehicles, including bulldozers, the soldiers interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards, especially in Burqa.

In Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces fired live ammunition toward Palestinian youths during an invasion of the Kafr Saba neighborhood of the city.

In addition, the army abducted several relatives of Palestinians previously killed by Israeli forces after breaking into their homes.

Those abducted included Ibrahim Abu Haniya and his son Mohammad, the father and brother of slain Palestinian Jamal Abu Haniya; Ghassan Jibril and his son Ashraf, the father and brother of the late Jibril Ghassan Jibril; Ziad Daoud and his son Maher, the father and brother of the late Tareq Ziad Daoud; and Mahmoud Abu Khalil, the father of the late Ali Mahmoud Abu Khalil.

These are among the documented and verified invasions and violations carried out across the occupied West Bank at dawn on Thursday.

Because of the ongoing nature of the invasions, additional incidents may have gone unreported or could not be immediately verified amid the sustained presence of Israeli military forces and illegal paramilitary colonizers across Palestinian towns, villages, and refugee camps.
